With over 6,000 feet elevation change, the Grey Rock Trail Run is the toughest, most technical 50K in the Northwest!
The course is out-and-back over Grey Rock Trail. The race leaves Tree Phones and climbs 1,800 feet over White's Ridge, descends 1,800 to Grey Rock Trailhead, then climbs 1,900 feet over Foundation Ridge to the turn-around at Ewe Neck. The return route reverses the outbound route back to Tree Phones Campground.
The elevation keeps the temperatures down making for ideal running conditions despite the hot summer month.
There will be water, food and aid at 12km, 24km, and 36km.
All runners must pass the 36km checkpoint by 1:00pm
This run is a fundraiser for the Ahtanum Valley Museum.
